The question you have to ask yourself is, would the Panthers trade Barkov even up for McKinnon? Or would the Avalanche do the same? Would the Oilers trade McDavid even up for Barkov? I don't think so. Would the Panthers like to have McKinnon as their top forward or McDavid, hell yes. |

In fact, to get McDavid you would have to give up both Barkov and Huberdeau. That is not a bad idea either. We had the Russian Rocket, now we could have the Canadian Rocket. He would pull people out of their seats. It would save on the salary cap too. |

Can you imagine the top line of McDavid Duclair and Verhaeghe, it would be just a blur. The whole idea about hockey is puck possession. These three would get to the puck before any other opposing forwards and would be going back down the ice. So many times I've seen the Panthers chasing the puck, while the opposing forward is being unattended to in front of their very own net. |

Knight was on fire this game, his playoff debut with team facing elimination. He gets hung out to dry as TB comes in 2on1 in the opening minute and buries one. Knight showed the poise of a veteran after that, totally stoning TB the rest of the way as the crowd went wild cheering him on.
Can’t wait to see more!
Development/rookie camp starts today. Knight, Lundell and Denisenko are there. |
